The difference between reversible and irreversible is that reversible changes can be changed and irreversible changes cannot. Apart from sometimes but it usually is really hard. Also when the change is reversible no new substances are formed. When the changes are irreversible they are.

Something that is reversible can be changed, something that is irreversible cannot be changed. For example, bread into toast is an irreversible reaction, because you cannot turn the toast back into bread.

GGHJReversible process-

1)It takes place in infinite number of infinitesimally small steps.

2)It is imaginary as it assumes the presence of frictionless piston.

3)It is in equilibrium state at all stages of the operation.

4)It is extremely slow.

5)Work done by a reversible process is greater than the corresponding irreversible process.

Irreversible process-

1)It takes place in finite steps.

2)It is real and can be performed actually.

3)It is in equilibrium state only at the initial and final stages of the operation.

4)It proceeds at measurable speed.

5)Work done by irreversible process is smaller than the corresponding reversible process. By Chintan Trivedi,Jafarabad.

From my point of view when you say something you cannot take it back and hence communication in this sense is irreversible. The meaning of 'irriversible' in this context means that you cannot erase the message you put foward to the receiver once its been received.

As posed, the question is incorrect - all chemical reactions are reversible, so there is no difference. Do you mean physical and chemical changes?

reversible changes in matter are those which can be change in its same condition and irreversible changes in matter are those which can not be change in their same condition.

Distinguish between reversible and irreversible electrochemical cell?

irreversible cells are those which require replacement of chemicals.when they give out electricity. these cannot be recharged. examples are : 1 =dry cell 2=zinc acid copper cell reversible cells are those in which reversible reactions are involved.these cells can brought back to their initial state by applying external potential difference
