How do you stop the seat belt alarm from ringing when seat belt is not latched on the 2007 E250 van?

Easy fix. Found this somewhere on the net and it worked for me. 1)Start your car. 2)Buckle and unbuckle the seat best as fast as you can for 1 minute, and I mean fast. 3)Turn your car off, then back on. This should fix your problem.

How do you remove the window crank handle on 2001 e250 van?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

I don't know how you're supposed to fix it but I'll tell you how I fixed the malfunctioning handle on the rear door of my 1994 E350. First, I removed the upholstered panel with the big pocket by prying off the upholstered buttons with a flat screwdriver which revealed Phillips head screws inside of what look like snaps. I removed all of the screws and the upholstered panel with the big pocket came off. Then I had to remove a half a dozen more screws that held on a piece of plywood. Then I could see the cables that connect the handle to the latch. There was play in the cable. I tightened the cable by drilling a hole in the door just below the window near the Pull Handle (not the handle that operates the latch--the one you use to pull the door closed from the inside.) I took a piece of coat hanger wire and wrapped it around the cable that goes from the door handle to the latch. I ran the other end of the coat hanger wire through the hole I drilled and then pulled it tight and wrapped it around the aforementioned pull handle. I know that's not the way you're supposed to fix it but it works fine and it didn't cost a penny.

I think it's in the valley at the front of the engine. it isn't hard, you just have to take several other things off to get to it. Once it's replaced, you may have to turn the engine over for a while for it to prime.

The only way I can explain it is to follow the wiring from your coil pack (where the spark plugs are) and the wires plug into the ignition module. Also go go www.wrenchead.ca and it has a manual that explains all.

How do replace connecting rod bearings?

User Avatar

Asked by Tbanditt

1. Clean the bearing surface of connecting rod and connecting rod cap. 2. Clean upper connecting rod bearing and lubricate the bearing face with clean engine oil. 3. Clean lower connecting rod bearing and lubricate the bearing face with clean engine oil. NOTE: Align the tabs on the connecting rod bearingswith the tab grooves in the connecting rod. 4. Install upper connecting rod bearing in connecting rod. 5. Pull the connecting rod into position against thecrankshaft. The connecting rod may need to be rotated in order to prevent contact with the piston cooling jet. 6. Install lower connecting rod bearing in connecting rod cap. 7. Install bearing cap in position on connecting rod. Ensure that the identification numbers are stamped on the same side. 8. If you have Type A connecting rods, install two bolts and two nuts. If you have Type B connecting rods, install two bolts. The torque is very important. It's probably 40 ft pounds plus 1/4 turn.

9. Repeat Steps 1 through 8 for the remaining connecting rod bearings.

How do you turn off air bag light on 95 dodge ram 1500 pickup?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

If the light is on the airbag system is disabled, and there's a problem. You can't just shut it off. Hook up a scan tool and retrieve the fault code and fix it right. or the airbags will not deploy if you're in an accident.

Prolog:

I'm pretty sure we all know to fix the problem, but most of us just left the airbag lock unplugged or the seat unplugged when we turned the key on. I too am searching for a cure. I know Nissan titan's you can key on key off 3 times to reset.
