It would depend on how you drive it and if you force it to slip. The more it slips the quicker it will wear out.
I think your referring to the Automatic Fuel Shut Off switch? It should always be on; you reset it if it trips off. If you're in an accident the electric fuel pump will automatically shut off for safety reasons.
The only torque you should be concerned with is the torque it takes to rotate the pinion gear alone, 8-14 inch pounds for old bearings, 16-29 in/lbs. for new bearings. The torque it takes to crush the crush collar (tightening the pinion nut) will be above 140 foot lbs. and this will set your tension on the pinion bearings. If you put a new crush collar in you are going to have to remove axles… Read More
Yes, but not as safe as when it is off. AdvanceTrac constantly monitors the vehicle motion relative to the driver's intended course. There are wheel-speed sensors to monitor the Traction Control and anti-lock braking system (ABS) and the ADVTRAC light indicates either a fault in the system, or a fault in one of the sensors itself. This is rarely a problem that interferes with normal driving or braking, but the system needs to be checked… Read More

If your check engine light is flashing on and off that means that an engine cylinder misfire has been detected . You can drive it in for repair , just avoid any rapid aceleration or deceleration because you can damage the catalytic converter . The shop will scan the vehicle for any trouble codes to try and help diagnose what is causing the engine cylinder misfire and then make the necessary repair(s)
Swap it with a known good one from another NON CRITICAL circuit-they all plug in pretty much the same and have same elec ratings generally. If that solves your problem, buy a relay.

I hope you are not driving this vehicle with so many faults? Obviously an electrical system problem. Start with the obvious thing, fuses, then check all the bulbs by removing them and looking at the filament wires and the base to see if they are broken or corroded. Finally check the flasher both regular signals plus the hazard flashers, and replace as needed.
