User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

The Spanish Coat of Arms consists of a shield topped by the Spanish Royal Crown and with one of the two Pillars of Hercules on each side of the shield. A ribbon or banner wraps both pillars and carries the motto "Plus Ultra." The shield itself is divided into four parts, one each representing the Kingdoms of Castile, Leon, Aragon, and Navarre, which joined together to form the Kingdom of Spain. In the arcane language of Heraldry, the shield is described as: Quarterly: Gules, a three towered castle Or, masoned sable and ajouré azure, Argent, a lion rampant purpure(sometimes blazoned gules) crowned Or, langued and armed gules, Or, four pallets gules, Gules, a cross, saltire and orle of chains linked together Or, a centre point vert, enté en point; Argent, a pomegranate proper seeded gules, supported, sculpted and leafed in two leaves vert.

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

Crossing the arms is a sign of a few things . One being intimidation another anxiety .

Sometimes its a relaxed posture used to express that the person is calm ( use obviously when the person is at home watching tv with feet up )

this is usually a defensive mode however used to defend the body and make the target smaller for potential attackers.

I have observed many times people spontaniously crossing their arms when they feel threatened suddenly or become uncomfortable in a daunting situation.

My answer would be , defence / self comfort / protection of ones self and the bodys way of saying i dont want to know .

Honest opinion, hope this helps ;)
