No, HTC also has Windows Mobile phones. Here is a list of HTC phones with Android:
HTC makes their own phones, from R&D to mass production. They are based out of Taiwan but don't be surprised if you open an HTC phone and discover parts were made in Korea.
Microsoft isn't a phone manufacturer. They produce components and software, and lately HTC isn't using any Microsoft software.
e.g. The Incredible uses a blend of the Android OS and HTC Sense.
First off you have to check the card slot.

DEL will delete the currently highlighted object(s). If the object is a file it will typically be recycled (sent to the recycle bin). SHIFT + DEL bypasses the recycle bin altogether and simply deletes the file.
SHIFT + DEL might have other purposes, depending upon the type of object(s) currently selected and the application that manages those objects. For instance, an application that maintains its own internal recycler to hold deleted objects might permit the use of SHIFT + DEL to bypass the recycler, in the same way Explorer permits SHIFT + DEL to bypass the recycle bin.
It would be under Settings > Wireless & Networks > Tethering & portable hotspot. First setup your wi-fi hotspot (network ID, password, etc.), then turn on Portable Wi-Fi hotspot for a wi-fi device such as a laptop or tablet to find the HTC One V's ID.
To video call in HTC One S, it is necessary to install the application allowing this. To use the three dimensional feature, a special faceplate or lenses are necessary to see the depth of the figure.

Honestly it depends on the type of Android phone you have.
Though generally at the top of the phone you should see a indent. Put your finger here and pull away from the phone. It should allow you to pull the back off the phone.
