How many liters of vapour does 1 liter of petrol produce?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

The exact amount of vapor produced by burning 1 liter of petrol can vary depending on several factors, including the composition of the petrol, the combustion conditions, and the efficiency of the combustion process.

Petrol is a complex mixture of hydrocarbons, and when it undergoes combustion, it primarily produces carbon dioxide (CO2) and water vapor (H2O) as byproducts. The stoichiometric ratio for the combustion of hydrocarbons suggests that for every molecule of hydrocarbon consumed, there will be one molecule of CO2 and a varying number of water molecules produced.

To calculate the precise amount of water vapor produced from the combustion of 1 liter of petrol, we would need to know the exact composition of the petrol and perform a detailed analysis of the combustion process. Additionally, factors like temperature, pressure, and the presence of impurities can affect the amount of vapor produced.

It's worth noting that the production of water vapor from the combustion of petrol is highly dependent on the availability of oxygen for complete combustion. In situations where there is insufficient oxygen, incomplete combustion may occur, leading to the production of carbon monoxide (CO) or other harmful byproducts.

Therefore, without more specific information, it is challenging to provide an exact figure for the amount of vapor produced by burning 1 liter of petrol.

What is the conversion from grams to cups for solid foods?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

Accurate conversion from grams to cups is possible only for water, which is how weight and volume are related in the metric system. The following conversion will yield too much of a solid more dense (heavier) than water, and too little of a solid less dense (lighter) than water.

First convert grams to liters: 1000 grams (1kg) 1 mililiter (ml).

Liters and milliliters can then be converted directly cups:

1 militers 1 teaspoon 15 ml 1 fluid oz. 100 ml 1 cup 1 liter 4.2 cups 1 liter 1.06 quarts 1 liter = .26 gallon

Here are the correct conversion factors within a few tenths of an mL:

5mL = 1 teaspoon (level teaspoon)

15mL = 1 tablespoon (level tablespoon)

30mL = 1 ounce

240mL =8 ounces (1 cup)

1000mL/1 liter =33.8 ounces

Keep in mind 1gram = 1mL

Answer #2

Technically, there is a conversion from grams to cups, but unfortunately, it has letters and numbers in it. The formula would be:

c = g *1/d * 0.00423

where

c = cups

g=grams

d = density = g/mL

and 0.00423 = cup/mL

So, if you don't know the density of the substance you are trying to measure (i.e. sugar) look it up online and go from there. Good luck!

How many 1000ml bottles of water equals a gallon?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

750 ml is equal to around 17 shots.

Calculations:

750 ml = 25.36 fl. oz.

1.5 fl oz/shot

25.36/1.5 = 16.91 shots.

In the UK a standard single measure of spirit is either 25 or 35ml. However double measures can also be sold.

Shot glasses typically have a capacity of 50ml (hence a double standard measure) This would mean that in a 750ml bottle there are 15 shots (50ml double measures).

How many ml equals 1 mg?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

In the metric system, milliliters (ml) and milligrams (mg) are used to measure different properties. Milliliters measure volume, while milligrams measure mass. So, it's not possible to directly convert milligrams to milliliters or vice versa. The conversion between the two depends on the density of the substance being measured. For example, the conversion for water is 1 milligram (mg) = 1 milliliter (ml), but for other substances, the conversion may be different.

How many MG is 118 ML?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

188 milliliters (ml) is equal to 188 milligrams (mg). They have the same numerical value because both milliliters and milligrams are metric units of measurement, but they measure different properties. Milliliters measure volume, while milligrams measure mass. So, in this case, 188 ml is equivalent to 188 mg.

What is the decimal system for ounces?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

The decimal system for ounces is based on dividing an ounce into decimal parts, with one ounce being equivalent to 0.0625 pounds or 28.35 grams. In this system, the decimal representation of ounces is a fraction of a pound, allowing for easy conversion between different units of weight.
