Fairy tales are basically short fantasy stories and there is no rule saying that they're just for kids. Although there seems to be more of a tendency for kids to read or have them read to them.
Telling lies is what Pinocchio likes. The male personage in question serves as the main character from a children's novel -- Le Avventure di Pinocchio ("The Adventures of Pinocchio") -- by Carlo Collodi (Carlo Lorenzini, November 24, 1826 - October 26, 1890) and in a world-famous Walt Disney animated and children's film of 1940. The pronunciation of the character's name will be "pea-NOK-kyo" in Italian.
Because Pinocchio is very old some of them are worth 1000$ or even more! if you look on Ebay you might get lucky by finding one worth around 500$ or even 300$.
Mickey Mouse has two buttons on his pants.
Blue Whales can be found in almost every sea and ocean in the world. They were the most widely spread whale species until Man started hunting them down. They were once in numbers of around 200,000 or more and now there are only 20,000 or so animals left in the wild.
They can be found in areas that are abundant in "Krill" their favorite prey species.
They don't live in family groups. They are solitary animals. They are known to be along one or two individuals at most and that too only for short periods of time.
No, Pinocchio was headed to school when Gideon and Honest John convince Pinocchio to join Stromboli's puppet show.
There are no scary parts, really. Some are a little scary, such as when the boys turn into donkeys, or Pinocchio is almost eaten by a giant who thought he was a fish, or when one of his classmates is hit with a schoolbook and they think he's dead. These are somewhat scary, but not very.
If you search amazon.com you may be able to find a used copy of the DVD that someone is selling. Cinderella was patient (a lot people would have told the stepsisters and stepmom how they REALLY felt)
She was incredibly resiliant to any form of disorder as the result of her trauma and abuse. (most people, when put through both parents dying when they were young and being treated as a slave in their own home, would have some sort of therapy need, most likely)
She was kind (she made the mice clothes and stuff)
She was obedient (she took the most ridiculous amount of work with no complaint)
She was beautiful (the prince liked her, right?)
Peter Pan is a story about a boy that does not grow up. Children are always in such a hurry to grow up. Children should take the time to enjoy their childhood.
Very long. So long that he couldn't even turn his head around the room:
At this third lie, his nose became longer than ever, so long that he could not even turn around. If he turned to the right, he knocked it against the bed or into the windowpanes; if he turned to the left, he struck the walls or the door; if he raised it a bit, he almost put the Fairy's eyes out.
In the book, Pinocchio simply wants to have fun, and then understands that he has to go to school, study, and wants to become able to take care of the ones who played the roles of parents in his life: his maker, Geppetto, and The Blue Fairy. During his adventures, he starts wishing to be real. When he finally learns the value of hard work and what love means (to do everything for the ones you care about), then he becomes a real boy.
In the Disney adaptation, Pinocchio's greatest desire from the very beginning is to be a real boy, and he is told by the Fairy that in order to become a real boy he has to prove himself worthy. As in the book, through sacrifice he achieves that.
