Obviously the most common is "you" and "your" as in "A plague on both your houses", or "You are too hot". Also "yonder" as in "What light from yonder window breaks". Or "young" as it "Can any of you gentlemen tell me where I may find the young Romeo?"

He wrote about goofy animals and crazy families, I had both. J.R.R. Tolkein was MANY peoples' favorite author when I was a kid. He wrote "The Hobbit." Leo Tolstoy remains a favorite of many people now. He wrote "War and Peace," and "Anna Karenina," among others. From the latter we get the phrase "Happy families are all alike; every unhappy family is unhappy in its own way. " While I would disagree with this (I do not think many happy families exist), you cannot beat him as a writer. You can, however, probably add to this list. But not more decisively.
Some possible reasons for running late could include traffic congestion, public transportation delays, oversleeping, forgetting appointments, or unexpected emergencies.
