SOCOM is the US military acronym for Special Operations Command; the command that coordinates special operations within the US.
There are land mines dividing North and South Korea. They help to keep North Korea from invading South Korea Again (which they did in June 1950) and help to deter another war with the two divided nations,
While some people like to believe something sinister is going on at this military base in Nevada, it is more likely that the base is restricted because of highly-classified testing of weapons and aircraft there. It is thus not a typical air base that anyone can visit, since its purpose is to perform top-secret kinds of research and testing that will later be used by the military.
Women are valued as snipers in many of the worlds military groups (Russia, Israel and others). The US military does not. The reasons for this failure to permit them to serve in tasks they can do is based on male chauvinism and sexual discrimination.
In 1962, during the Vietnam war, fighting the NVA (north Vietnamese army) became to difficult with the average "Grunts" of the military, and John F Kennedy formed the elite force, the NAVY SEALS. (Sea Air and Land) and the most elite branch of the US Military.
As of January 2013, there are approximately 63,000 personnel with SOCOM, however, not all of these are operators. Some are support or command personnel. This number includes all 5 sub-commands:
USASOC (Army) - 28,500
NAVSPECWARCOM (Navy) - 8,900
AFSOC (Air Force) - 18,000
MARSOC (Marines) - 2,600
JSOC (Joint Tier 1) - Classified, probably about 4000-6000.
You can't. As a top secret operation, the specific details of the mission, especially the names of personnel will remain classified still. So, unless you have a militarily justifiable need to know, you cannot get that list.
To protect field operatives in Special Operations, the names of personnel are a closely guarded secret.
Completely a question of opinion, no actual information can be given. It's all up to your opinion.
I would say Teamwork. Ill post the Ranger creed and let you decide:
Recognizing that I volunteered as a Ranger, fully knowing the hazards of my chosen profession, I will always endeavor to uphold the prestige, honor, and high esprit de corps of my Ranger Regiment.Acknowledging the fact that a Ranger is a more elite soldier who arrives at the cutting edge of battle by land, sea, or air, I accept the fact that as a Ranger my country expects me to move further, faster, and fight harder than any other soldier.Never shall I fail my comrades I will always keep myself mentally alert, physically strong, and morally straight and I will shoulder more than my share of the task whatever it may be, one hundred percent and then some.Gallantly will I show the world that I am a specially selected and well trained soldier. My courtesy to superior officers, neatness of dress, and care of equipment shall set the example for others to follow.Energetically will I meet the enemies of my country. I shall defeat them on the field of battle for I am better trained and will fight with all my might. Surrender is not a Ranger word. I will never leave a fallen comrade to fall into the hands of the enemy and under no circumstances will I ever embarrass my country.Readily will I display the intestinal fortitude required to fight on to the Ranger objective and complete the mission, though I be the lone survivor
The question really doesn't make any sense. If you're asking how many people have they killed, there aren't any such records available.
Known by the SEAL's as on of the "Boat Guys", an SB2 is one of the Navy's Special Boat Operators, who are part of the SWCC (Special Warfare Combat Crewmen) community. An SB2 is a Special Boat Operator 2nd Class (2nd Class Petty Officer).
SB's, like all SWCC's, are responsible for SEAL insertion and extraction where high speed boats and other watercraft are required. They are highly trained in boat operation, navigation, engineering, first aid, weapons, and pretty much anything else necessary to operate in extremely hostile environments.
By the time of the Mexican-American War, U.S. soldiers were technologically equivalent to those of Europe due to advances
There is no set requirement to pass Navy SEAL training, or BUD/s. You should blow the minimum requirements to join out of the water because that is just the minimum. Go into BUD/s as a very well conditioned runner, and have your head on straight for your mental toughness will be tested as well.

The Five Truths of SOF are:
1) Humans are more important than hardware.
2) Quality is better than quantity.
3) SOF cannot be mass produced.
4) Competent SOF cannot be created after emergencies occur.
5) Most SOF require non-SOF assistance.
