There could be a variety of causes. Typically blisters on the face and nose would indicate too much exposure to sun, thus resulting in sunburn. Other causes could be related to allergice reaction to detergents used on the skin, to a plethora of other things. Best to see a dermotologist.

No. Canker soresoccur only inside the mouth and are not contagious. They sometimes occur as a result of trauma (biting the inside of the lip, burning the mouth with hot food), but may also occur without any known reason.
Fever blistersor cold sores are caused by herpes simplex virus type 1 and are very contagious. Fever blisters often come back in the same location.

∙ 11y agoThe herpes virus causes fever blisters. Fever blisters ARE contagious, so don't kiss or drink after someone who has a visible fever blister (AKA cold sore).
