The surface area is 1,385.4 cm2
2(pi)r=2X3.14X3cm=18.85cm to four significant figures
Lets say its 12 inches by 5 inches by 10 inches It will be 12X5 = 60X10 =600square inches.
Times the length by the width of a floor to find the area in square measurement.12ft x 10ft = 120sq ft (could be written thus: 120ft2)
Do you mean the surface area of the box? If so... What you do is break the surface area into 6 rectangles: Two rectangles have sides of length 6.3 and 12.6 inches. Two rectangles have sides of length 6.3 and 4.2 inches. Two rectangles have sides of length 12.6 and 4.2 inches. Find the area of each of the six rectangles (using the standard formula for the area of a rectangle, A = W x H), and add up all six. The sum of the areas of the six rectangles will be the surface area of the box. Since the lengths of the sides are in inches, the area will already be in square inches, and therefore you don't have to "turn it into square inches".
---- It's absoloutly impossible. 3 reasons are that firstly the planet has an atmosphere that is made up from gases that are deadly poisonous to a human. Secondly, the surface of Jupiter (and just about all of the rest of it too) is gaseous and the only "solid" part is a very small inner core. Thirdly, even if you could find a solid surface to stand on you would still die instantly because the pressure on Jupiter is so incredibly heavy that a human would be crushed and flattened like a ribbon instantly.
The radius of the sphere is ~16.395 units.

The surface area of the sphere with the radius doubled is 200 units2.---> Confirmed
Surface area of a sphere = 4*pi*radius squared
Use the formula for volume to solve for the radius of the sphere and then plug that radius into the formula for the surface area of a sphere.

The surface area of every sphere is (4 pi) times (the radius squared).Knowing that, you can find the surface area of not only the one you'reasking about right now, but of every sphere that ever was, is, or will be !
The surface area of a sphere is equal to 4 x Pi x radius2
Surface area of a sphere in square units = 4*pi*radius^2
Given a sphere of radius r, Surface area = 4{pi}r2 Volume = (4/3){pi}r3
Surface area of a sphere = 4 x (pi) x (radius)2
