On the V6 engine the power steering reservoir is on the firewall side of the engine below the level of the exhaust manifold. There may be heater hoses or wiring harness over it making the filler cap a little hard to see.

Where do you find a handle to open the bonnet in 1996 Ford Fiesta?

under the steering wheel column there is a red handle that gives every impression it's going to be a steering wheel height adjustment, but it isn't, it's the bonnet release. Took us some finding too I've never taken longer to find a bonnet release in my life!this covers the 1995 1997 1998 1999 2000 2001 and 2002 ford fiesta as well (just making it easier for google to find there)

What could cause an 86 Chevy Celebrity to shudder and die when making tight turns?

Check the power steering sensor on the pressure hose. When you make a hard turn, such as in parking, it puts additional load on the engine. The power steering sensor then tells the engine control module so it can raise the fuel flow rate to compensate thus maintaining engine speed.

What is the sqealing sound in the engine?

More than likely it is a belt that you hear squealing. It can be loose or just worn out. Inspect all your belts. It can also be a power steering pump that is making this noise. Check the fluid level in the power steering pump.

Is making noise when you turn the steering wheel?

If you mean "what" is making noise when you turn the steering wheel? It usaually means you need power steering fluid. If you run too long without power steering fluid it will make your power steering go out. If it is making a shuttering noise when you take sharp turns. Your rear differential may need to be serviced. I would have is burnished.

Why does truck turn off when making a turn?

It turned off the road onto another road because you turned the steering wheel. But if you mean the engine stopped, you probably have a bare wire in the steering column casing a short which turns off the ignition

Where does steering lubrication go as steering is making grinding noise?

Power steering fluid is often added and stored directly into the power steering pump. Look for a teardrop-shaped assembly with a filler cap on the top of it somewhere on the driver's side of the vehicle under the hood, near the engine. Then check for evidence of a leak on the underside of that assembly or along the line that runs from it.

Do you lose steering when engine is turned off during driving?

Most cars will only lose power to the servo, making the car possible but heavy to steer with the engine off. It's a dangerous and pointless experiment though. It won't save you any useful amount of gas, and if you turn the engine off by the key there is a risk of the steering wheel lock kicking in - and then you're really in trouble.
