I don't know what a PID is, but I do recall seeing them listed in the Autozone Repair Guide for the Windstar. (and wondering what they were)

actually, it stands for nothing except the name of the trim package. in the windstar, LX is the lowest trim level, followed by the SE, SEL, and limited.
No such thing as a "fuel trim sensor". Where did you come up with that? Fuel trim is a computer adjustment based on O2, MAF, ECT, TPS and other sensors.
On a 1998 Ford Windstar : The fuel pump shut off switch ( inertia switch ) is in the drivers footwell by the inside hood release ( I believe it is behind the trim panel , there is probably an access hole )

the 1500 trim 2002 avalanche has a fuel capacity of 31 gallons of fuel. the 2500 trim has a capacity of 37 1/2 gallons of fuel.
Each one is a different trim level with more standard equipment.
