It would be helpful if you purchased the tool to remove and replace the door spring, it is not expensive, probably under $20. Once you have the door spring removed, remove the hinge pin retaining clips, one on each pin. Then have soneone hold the door while you drive the lower pin up and out, then the upper pin down and out. If you have wires connected between the body and door for speakers and such, these will need to be disconnected from within the door. Door panel will have to be removed to gain access to connections.
Remove the inner kick panel. Disconnect the wiring harness. Drive the pins out of the hinges - remove door.
Open your doors, you may need to remove your fenders .Then find the nuts for the hinges, remove the nuts while supporting the door. Be careful of your door. Remove the hinges from the frame, replace, follow through in reverse.
A Chevy Lumina door panel is held in by screws and push pins. After removing the screws, use a special tool to pop the pins out without damaging the panel.
Have to remove the door, then remove pins and bushings
Replace the worn door hinge pins and bushings and the door should line up where it belongs. The pin and bushing kits are available from your local auto parts store.
Open door look at the hinge remove two pins holding it on and remove door place it on ground, pick up new door put pins back onto the hinge well holding door and you should be done.
Replace the hinge pins and bushings.

Remove the inside door panel. Disconnect wire harness from inside of door and slide the harness out of the door. Remove door detent spring with proper tool (can be purchased from your local auto parts store for aprox $10). Support bottom of door with a jack or any suitable device.Remove retaining clips from door hinge pins. Have a friend hold the door upright while you drive out the hinge pins with a long punch and hammer. Once the pins are out the door can be removed. Reverse procedure to install. I would suggest replacing the pins and bushings with new ones. Once again these pins and bushings are available from your local auto parts store for cheap.
it will take 2 people... use a floor jack at the open end of the door to hold it at the same hight. use the second person two keep the door from twisting when you remove a pin...then just replace one pin at a time.

Disconnect any wires, and remove the 2 pins that face up and down. You should have someone hold the door, while someone else removes the pins.
