Not that I no of but the 1985 broncos and 2008 patriots went 11-5 and didint make it. in 2008 the chargers made it whyile going 8-8 yet the pats didnt. how unfair is that?!

No. Every team that has had an 11-5 (or better) record has made the playoffs since the league went to the 4 team divisions in 2002. The correct answer is YES. The 2008 New England Patriots finished 11-5 and missed the playoffs. Miami won the division at 11-5 (finished ahead of NE based on better conference record - 8-4 to NE's 7-5). Beating out NE for the 2 wild card spots were the 12-4 Indianapolis Colts, and the 11-5 Baltimore Ravens. Ravens won tie breaker over NE based on better conference record - 8-4 to NE's 7-5.
