No. Nothing can land on Jupiter as it does not have a solid surface. However, one atmosphereic probe was sent to Jupiter in 1995, and the Galileo space probe was deliberate burned up in Jupiter's atmosphere in 2002.
The Comet Shoemaker Levy-9 plunged into the Jovian giant back in 1994. NASA launched the Galileo Explorer to Jupiter in 1989. It arrived in 1995, and spent eight years snappnig photographs and making observations. Engineers plunged it into Jupiter's atmosphere in 2003, so that it would not "contaminate" any of the jovian moons.
Several other spacecraft have made flybys.
No its made of gas any way its so cold that that you'd freeze then burn
There have been no manned missions past the moon.
Obv not. We havent even been to Mars yet. =\
A number of space probes have been to Jupiter, most famously Voyager 1 and Voyager 2. They were launched in 1977 and took about 2 years to reach Jupiter.
No, the Moon is as far as man has travelled to date.
No one has traveled to Jupiter.
Jupiter (Zeus) is god of the sky and justice. He is able to throw thunderbolts at anybody he pleases.
In real life to date, we have only sent probes past Jupiter. In fiction, perhaps the most famous instances of manned missions to Jupiter are found in the novels of the late Arthur C. Clarke (2001: A Space Odyssey, and their sequels).
how long has Jupiter been in space
No,, there have never been, nor will there ever be rovers on Jupiter. Jupiter is a gas planet. It has no surface on which to land. However, a rover might one day land on one of Jupiter's many moons.
Jupiter has been named that since ancient times.
