In baseball, the ball is smaller and harder. You use a smaller sized bat than you do in softball. In softball, the ball is softer and bigger. The bat you use is bigger than the type of bat you use in baseball.

They use the same, standard regulation Little League baseball. a Softball is larger and somewhat softer ( slower velocity all around) but that is a different sport. I mention this as women"s softball has long been popular. In l895 the game was codified under the name of Kitten Ball. did this derive from One O"Cat?

A local Softball league would be found in your town's little league. it would contain 4-10 teams with at least 12 players on every team . At almost the end of the season they would notify players that they have made the all-star team . All-star teasms contain the best of the best in that season. they would travel the county to play other softball teams. After that they would play in sectionals, regionals, semi state… Read More

Softball mound for girls that age is 35 feet.
Can a pitcher in little league fast pitch softball go back to the mound after she was pulled off the mound?
yes, so long she has not yet started her pitch or presented the ball.
Yes. You cannot slide head first while advancing but you can dive head first BACK to a base.
It will vary as there are thousands of different leagues across the USA, but the most common base length is 50'.
While there are no hard and fast rules for pitching mound height, there are some generally accepted guidelines for the height of a softball pitching mound. * Professional - 10" * College - 10" * High School - 10" * Little League - 6" * Pinto - 4"
They do in little league, but the action of pitching a softball is less harmful to the body than an overhand pitch, asa and usssa haven't seen the need for it as yet, there is not enough data on injuries due to extended pitching underhand.
normally they get $35 a game.. here in Massachusetts that is what we pay our umpires. Actually, the Little League rulebook states that all umpires must be non-paid volunteers. The correct answer should be that a little league umpire has a salary of zero dollars. This is true. As someone who has been an umpire in a Little League World Series I can verify (per the Little League rulebook and Operating Manual) That LL umpires… Read More

a senior little league is for those with expirence and talent The above answer is wrong. The difference between Senior Little League and Little League is age. Little League is normally what is said when discussing the parent organization of all divisions of Little League Baseball International. The divisions of Little League Baseball are divided between Tee ball, Minors, Majors, Junior, Senior and Big Leagues. Little League International also offers Softball, and Challenger. It's becomming more and more popular as time goes by, but being from the California, I'd have to say the West Coast... particularly Southern California. The calibur of play is more advanced, and there are more little league teams, travel teams, ect. If you ever watch college softball or even look at the stats of team USA softball, the majority of players are from California. The olympic softball training facility is even located in Chula… Read More
There is no such rule as "tie goes to the runner" in baseball or softball. That is a common misconception. The umpire must judge whether the runner beat the ball or vise versa.
The Little Dipper was not named after anybody.
Baseball is open to both men and women. But it is very difficult for a woman to make it very far in baseball because of softball, though some woman have played in the Major Leagues and the Negro leagues. Little league baseball is open to both genders, and schools are required to allow women to play on a baseball team if that school does not have a softball team.
Of course not! Anybody can like it. Anybody can like anything they want!
You need to check the rules for the organisation you play through. Most do not require any game time or at bat at the all star level.
For both Little League baseball and Little League softball this issue was brought to a roundtable vote and DID NOT receive the necessary votes to become a rule (see below). Therefore, it is still LEGAL to slap/slash hit bu faking a bunt then swinging at a pitch. Item 4 (A) -- Affects Rule 6.06 -- Minor and Major League Baseball A batter is out for illegal action when -- (d) he/she fakes a bunt and… Read More

A soft softball is made out of foam and never actually used in a real game of softball. If it is ever used, it is probably used in PE. or in a game that is just for fun. A hard softball is used in a real game of softball. A certified softball is a lime green sort of color and comes in a variety of sizes. The smallest size is 10 inches around, another is… Read More
it doesn't really matter what you use. the only difference is that in a glove for softball the glove is made smaller because a women's hand is usually smaller than a man's hand. Both bats and gloves are governed by certain rules which apply to both games. First, remember when it comes to rules for equipment there is little to no distinction between fastpitch softball and slowpitch softball. In baseball there are three basic levels… Read More

Well I can't really tell a difference in what my new senior bats say. I'm pretty sure they say the same thing except they probably say whether its used for senior, junior, or little league.
Nothing, real ball players dont need loaded softball bats or doctored balls. Man up, practice a little and get better.
