When to start yasmin if you don't know when your cycle is because of Mirena?

You can start Yasmin at any time if Mirena is still effective (has been in for less than five years) and get immediate protection. If Mirena has been in longer than five years, use a backup method of birth control until you've taken the pill correctly for seven days.

What is the birth control that lasts for twelve years?

There is an IUD (intrauterine device) called Paraguard, which is made of copper that can provide effective birth control for up to 10 years (10 years is as long as it has been studied). As far as I know there is no birth control that lasts 12 years. Paraguard is a small "T" shaped device that is inserted into the uterus through the cervix in a small office procedure and can be removed by the physician at any time in the event that you would desire to have children. There is another IUD on the market currently, called Mirena, which is made of plastic and which releases a small amount of progesterone (a natural hormone in a woman's body). The Mirena IUD lasts up to 5 years. The IUD works by preventing ovulation (Mirena) and/or by preventing a fertilized egg from implanting into the uterus, which is necessary for a pregnancy to continue.

You had a miscarriage in February and you have been off and on with your birth control pills and it has been about 2 months being off of birth control pills and you were wondering how long it is going?

How long it is going for what? Missing birth controls like you have will put you at risk of pregnancy. If your trying to conceive then stop taking birth control because this will harm the Foetus when you do conceive.

It is easy to become pregnant if you have been on birth control for several years?

If you are using your birth control as directed, there should be a very small chance of getting pregnant. I'm not sure if the length of time you've been on birth control matters, but if you are inconsistent when it comes to taking/using it, the likelihood of getting pregnant increases at least a little. It really depends on your form of birth control.
