A Psychic is a person who is sensitive to things which are beyond the natural range of perception. This is an unexplainable ability for some people who are capable of receiving or seeing some form of premonition of a future event that takes place or has taken place. It may not be the exact event that is either seen or something that will eventually take place, but none the less is a near representation of something that has happened or will happen. An example of this is, my wife's sister who is susceptible to such occurrences, saw a woman in black carrying a dead child. Later my sons child died two days after it was born.
Coincidence? Maybe, but such things have been known to happen.

next time give a clear question, have what ability? the psychic ability. everyone has it, and really anyone can be a psychic, it is completley true, and there have been tests, and they came out positive. I am a psychic.
Does anyone else question the validity of psychic readings?
There is no proof either way that psychic ability exists. Since it is easier to disprove, many readers have been exposed. However, there are always cases where the ability remains possible. Television shows like "The Mentalist" examine this topic of a how a former psychic reveals his simple ability to watch people makes him appear to have extraordinary abilities.
Do people have psychic powers?
Yes they do, but I would call it "Psychic Ability" rather than psychic powers. Everyperson has the ability, it just has to be developed in most people.EDIT: It should be noted, however, that there is not scientific proof of people having these powers. They have not been proven and most people who claim to have them refuse to test them under scrutiny. James Randi has offered one million dollars to whoever can prove, beyond reasonable doubt, that they have psychic powers/abilities. Nobody has been able to pass the preliminary challenge as of yet, and therefore no one has been able to pass the full test (in front of the media). It also should be noted that there is no logical backing behind these "powers".

Can your psychic ability go away?
