Have Chinese people always lived in the Chinatown area located on Cermak and Wentworth in Chicago?

There were once two Chinatowns, Argyle/Broadway and the Cermak St Chinatown. Which was first? I don't remember but I do remember the story of this all was very interesting. One can learn alot about Chicago from listening to WBEZ radio.

The Chinese settlement was on Clark Street between Van Buren and Congress before it moved to Wentworth and 22bd Street.
