Computers have changed society in an infinite number of ways. What used to take someone hours of searching through library books can now be done within a matter of seconds on the internet. Unlimited information is literally at people's fingertips. If you have a question you can generally get an answer instantly on the computer. Computers have also made the spreading of news, articles, brochures, etc more efficient. Millions of people can be reached with the press of a button. In a sense, the world has become a smaller place because of the computer. More and more businesses are able to go global because of the computer. The world is more internationally aware. On a smaller level, the computer has affected the way people interact with others on a day to day basis. Family members that live far apart can easily keep in contact with one another in a way that is not hindered by living in different time zones. People who have never even met can become "friends" and even spouses! Because the computer has decreased the amount of time it takes to get information, type papers and send letters, it has allowed people to devote time to other things.

computer has has a VERY important impact in our life because it helps do most of our work in our daily life like giving us knowledge about the world we live in and doing some work that can't be done by animals or humans so, so without the computer we wouldn't be so smart. computers are in our every day life: (school, work, church, etc. In life most of the time for jobs like: real estate agent and veterinarian and teacher and lots of other jobs you have to know how to use a computer to do your every day work.

Whatever the answer to that is, the computers are innocent. Computers are the most obedient things ever made, and everything they have ever done was dreamed up, planned out, and financed by people. Computers make the internet possible, including WikiAnswers and Google. Is that for the better? But they also make Spam possible, and viruses, and Nigerian money scams, and identity theft, and lots of bad things. So it's really, "Has what people dreamed up to do with computers changed society for better or worse?" I happen to think 'better' when you add it all up, but that doesn't mean you can trust everything that comes along that was made possible by computers.
