Only about 600 made. Seek professional appraisal.
When you got this weapon, you should have been given some documents and licensing papers with it. It should have some brief history of it on there. To find more look it up on the internet. If you cant find any, dont worry about it because you have the brief history on there.
I have a Winchester 16ga model 1400 I got it a few days ago I cleaned it and went out to shoot it but it does not want to eject the empty shell, what could be the problem, anybody?
Based on the serial number your model 88 rifle was made in 1958. The original stocks were checkered (I have a 1957 model 88), so the stock you describe is likely a replacement. The following link gives the dates of manufacture for many Winchester rifles:http://armscollectors.com/sn/windates.htm
With the serial number that you provided, your winchester model 1912 pump action shotgun was made in the year 1959.There were 104,672 made during that year.
I got the information at http://oldguns.net/sn_php/winmods.htm it was made in 1956
Try Numrich Arms, they've got a website and a lot of used parts.
The Model 67 was not numbered. For what it's worth, I've got a Model 67, too, and I can't find a serial number on it. Sounds like the above ("The Model 67 was not numbered.") is correct.
Amethist.
I got one in May, and paid $400.00 for it. They had a tag of $500.00. I just saw one go at auction for $723.00, and it wasn' t any better than the one I got. Both were in excellent condition.
Do a search for "Winchester 190 Take Down Guide" It is the same and I got mine free on the net.
About $650 depending on manufacture date. If it is pre '64 you got a gem worth 3 times that
