It can be just from ovulation. However, if your periods are irregular, it can be a sign of implantation and you are pregnant if sexually active. Spotting before a period was due was my first sign that I was pregnant.
Well 2 questions;
Your age? If you're under 25, I would definitely not worry about it. Spotting in younger females is extremely common.
WHERE is the blood coming from? You say when you wipe so is it coming from inside your vagina or outside?
Are you sexually active? Spotting is also very common in younger females after having, sorry for the graphic detail, but "rough" sex or having sex when they hadn't had it for a while. I personally get it very often and have seen the gyn and have been concluded to be perfectly healthy many many times.
You could also just be having a very early period. WHen your young your hormones are very crazy and so some girls just have very random period schedules sometimes which should get better with age.
If your period was not due for 2 weeks, it sounds as if you had some ovulation spotting, which is completely normal and might or might not happen every month.
There are many reasons that cause light spotting which are normal. One of these is mid cycle bleeding which could just be caused by a drop in the estrogen levels.
it could potentailly mean your pregnant.
spotting is Implantation bleeding which is a sign of pregnancy so yes you could be pregnant
Spotting in the 1st month usually means nothing unless it is accompanied by cramping. I have had 4 successful pregnancies and have spotted light brown/pinkish with no complications with the babies. If the bleeding becomes heavy or cramping starts you should definitely see a doctor and express your concerns
not likely unless there is cramping backache signs of labor..it could just be spotting from the new pregnancy
Hi, Yes you can. Implantation cramping is very common and usually feels like period cramping. Implantation bleeding (IB) occurs 8-12 days after unprotected sex and not every woman experiences IB. Signs of IB are: * Light bleeding that lasts a few hours to 2-3 days. * Pinkish/brownish or reddish vaginal discharge. * Spotting of blood. * Spotting of blood that does not require a pad or tampon. * Spotting that is pinkish in colour. * Spotting that is brown in colour. * Light bleeding that is either pink or brown in colour and sometimes red.
If you have been sick or under stress that could be the reason why you are late. The cramps and pinkish brown is blood and you are having a period.
it means you need to go to the doctor.
It could be a sign of pregnancy, or another issue. Best to consult with your physician.
It was due to a miscarriage - it was the beginning of one anyways.
yes its possible to have a pinkish or brownish spotting for a couple of hours to days around that time after conception, this is the implantation bleed
hi, ok, i think im about 5 days late not sure, but i started to have pinkish light red spotting with cramping, and then it turned to dark brown spotting which is very light. i dont know wheter this is considered a period or if im pregnant, im not sure exactly when the last day of my period was, just know it was sometime in nov the middle to the end, usually im at the end of the month. whatcha think? nikkisexoticcloset@yahoo.com ANSWER Implantation bleeding is a tiny spot of blood which can happen up2 3 days. it can be stringy or thick. The colour can be pink/red/brown. Go to the doctors if your worried or go get a pregnancy test. From pink princess
There is probably nothing wrong but a visit to your doctor or midwife would be sensible.
Implantation is usually light and lasts a few hours to a 3-4 days. It is also spotting of a pinkish discharge. Cyst rupturing can only be diagnosed by a doctor.
