Harry goes with Dumbledore to a cave where Dumbledore believes a Horcrux is hidden. Dumbledore drinks a potion that causes him great pain, and they are attacked by inferi, but escape. Snape kills Dumbledore. Harry breaks up with Ginny; Harry, Ron, and Hermione all agree to drop out of Hogwarts to search for Horcruxes and destroy them.
