Hold an egg without breaking it?

This has to do with the strength of its shell. If you hold an egg in your hand and wrap you fingers around it then squeeze with equal force all around, the egg will not break. This is because the curvature of the egg, like the arches in Roman aqueducts, is very strong.

How can you drop a fresh egg 6' onto a concrete floor without the egg breaking?

Wrap it around 6 times with bubble wrap.
The egg drop experiment is a standard science engineering
project.
The idea is to build a container for the egg out of simple
materials and drop the egg from a determined height. This container
is meant to protect the egg from breaking.
the easy way :: if you hold the egg slightly above 6' it will
fall 6' without breaking
..its the last little bit that does all the damage

How do you drop a real egg on a concrete floor without breaking it?

If that's a riddle, then the answer is:
Any way you want! However you drop the egg, you won't break the
concrete floor!! Hey, it doesn't say "without breaking THE
EGG"!!!!! :D
But if that's NOT a riddle, which it probably is, you would have
to hold the egg REALLY LOW, and I mean REALLY, and then drop it.
Or, you could try wrapping the egg with stuff like bubble wrap, or
putting a carpet on the concrete floor.
But, usually this is just a funny joke! :)
