I don't mean to sound like a neo nazi but Hitler also did some pretty cool things to improve life for children living in nazi Germany.
Hitler created the Hitler you which were basically on the same scale as the cubs or scouts now but much better, they competed against each other in like mini Olympics, they were taught how to survive in the wild, they would go out on long retreats for camping trips and life training exercises such as hunting these were supposed to prepare them for joining the army when they became 18.
Although the Hitler youth was not all fun and games it was stupid at times and just plain dangerous, Hitler organised war games that members of the youth would take part in but using live amunition so that only the best fighters would prevale " i mean how physically sick is that getting a bunch of 16 year olds to shoot each other till there are only a few left that's just plain wrong.
