Obviously, the bending arts in Avatar: The Last Airbender is completely fictional, but the movements used to bend the elements are based on several Chinese Martial Arts.
Waterbending is based on tai chi, a martial art that features slow movements and elegant forms that evoke the feel of flowing water.
dude even though it may be fake you should at least tell
to master waterbending though you do have to know alot of tai chi. I'f you learn to control the energy inside you than you will move on to move the energy around you such as water, earth, fire, and air so all of the four elements try and find a really good Tia chi class online and you will then be able to waterbend when you have finished this class completely
This can be answered one of 3 ways:
1) "Bending" the water and air is impossible in real life, dude.
2) If you mean how they do it in the show, that is up to suspension of disbelief. I buy it because it's too entertaining for me to care.
3) In real life, the movements they use are from 4 different martial arts forms (one for each element). If you wanted to learn martial arts the way they use their forms to bend, then you can look up what form they use and ways to learn them.
I hope this helps.
Go to bending-academy.blogspot.com to learn how to bend. The site is updated on a regular basis, so check back daily for updates.
Sorry. Element bending is as fictional as unicorns. vampires, and the Illuminati. None of it exists in reality.
go to this link http://4nation-elements.webs.com/ .train here to bend elements, im not sure if it is true.you need to use your chi energy
You cannot. Alas, it is purely an element of fiction from the Nickleodeon show Avatar.
just bend the air
You have to use special effects.
No, only the avatar can bend all four elements, that is what makes him "The Avatar".
If you want to know how to air bend like in the television show "Avatar: The Last Airbender", then you can't. It is impossible to control air just by using your body to make it do whatever you want.
Think of bending like you would think of a martial art (as that what Bending is based off of). Sokka was never really interested in bending from the start so he never really learned the moves needed to bend an element. He instead chose to be a swordsman. Besides Michael Dante DiMartino (Creator of Avatar) said that Sokka had some water bending potential but never realized it.Actually, Sokka could learn how to bend but never did. Michael Dante DiMartino (Creator of avatar) said Sokka had water bending potential but never realized it. But Sokka is okay with that because, apparently, he doesn't like many spiritual things.
Fire bending is one of the easier "psychic" abilities. Start small, a single candle in a closed, draft-free room, sit comfortably in front of it, and concentrate on the flame. Try to bend the flame with your mind, a small change is usual at first but as you develop control you will eventually be able to bend the flame at a 90 degree angle. Once you can do that, try rotating it 360 degrees. When you have achieved this you can claim to be a fire bender.
Although air is almost perfectly transparent, it can still cast shadows via refraction. ... But, when different regions of air have different indices of refraction, the air can indeed bend light away from the forward direction and create shadow
A character from the last air bender (and the likes) He has the ability to master water, fire, earth and air making him unique. The other characters are unable to bend the elements or can only control one of them, determined by which tribe they come from, which makes him respected and feared by all.
The ray will bend towards the normal.
The speed of light slows in water.
the light reflects of the droplets like a prism and bend the rays of light to make a rainbow
heat , water, air , sun
light rays bend away from normal as it passes from denser water to rarer air
Light is affected by the media that it travels through. Even air will bend light. Glass and water certainly bend light.
because of difference in density of the medium, water is a more dense medium than air.
The light will bend as it passes through.
air, water, dirt, dust, sand
sorry no. fire, water, air, and earth bending are completley fictional
Mirage. The air near the surface is heated, movement of air, and different densities of air causes light rays passing through it to bend- like light that passes through a wave of water.
