How air blower works?

Loose connection or blower motor? Bad blower motor? Loose fuse? Bad fan switch?

when a blower motor only works on high, it is usually due to faulty resistor board. Should be located in the duct near the blower. the purpose of this is so the air blown by the blower keeps the resistors cool.

it is due to the difference in the air intake and impeller construction.

Figured it out...the blend door actuator was not fully seated when I replaced it.

Your air conditioner blower may have stopped working because the blower motor isn't working. You can replace the blower or replace the air conditioner.

more than likely will be the blower motor resistor has went out.

Either you have a faulty blower fan in the front, or power isn't getting to it.

My guess would be the blower motor speed resistor is burned out.

If you are referring to the blower motor speed, and only the highest setting works, then the problem is a bad Blower Motor Resistor Pack.

Have you checked your coolant? Kind of obvious but sometimes overlooked.

If the a/c compressor cools the air coming from the vents, and the heater knob makes the air hot, but the fan switch doesn't change the speed of the air coming from the vents, most likely the culprit is the fan switch itself, the blower resistor, or the blower motor. With smoke being present, there's a good chance the blower motor burned up.

First find out if the blower works. To do this disconnect the hot wire from the blower and use a jumper wire from the positive of the battery and connect it to where that hot wire was. if it does not go;;; then check that the blower motor is grounded.

It probably is wiring or relay.

The wiring, switch or blower has failed.

air flow is toward floor. blower is below filter. blower pulls air thru filter.

check your blower fan. you may only be getting air thru your fresh air vent.

The blower motor works on only one speed. The blower motor resitor pack is defective and needs to be replaced. It is located on the blower housing in the engine compartment just below the blower motor.

The blower is common to hot and cold air. If it is only cold air that is a problem, then the problem is not the blower motor. The blower motor is actually in the engine compartment, passenger side at the firewall.
