What should an average 15 year old boy bench bress?
How much should you be able to bench press?
you should be at least able to bench your own weight but if you can't then you are pretty weak my bench press is 100 pounds max at a body weight of 96 pounds but keep your self at a pace you can do you dont want to hurt youself. -- Everyones bench press max is different. I weigh 130pounds, my 5 sets of 5 is with 130 pounds and my max is 170pounds. 30-40pounds above your 5 by 5 max is a pretty good guesstimate of your one rep max if you are around my weight. i weigh 139 and can do 190

Average high school bench press max?
There is probably no "average" bench press max because of that fact that it varies greatly depending on the upperbody strength of the individual. However for males in highschool, especially athletes, benchpress maxes have been achieved at massive weights such as over 500 lbs ( Sam Harvill Shiloh Christian Academy- 520 lb bench as highshool junior). There are no statistics that cover the "average" benchpress due to the fact that not everyone has attempted to max out on the bench. As a junior football player in highschool, my benchpress max is 320 lbs and I am one of the strongest in my school. If you are benching over 300 lbs and in highschool, you are in good shape but there are few who have gone beyond what was once considered impossible.

Im a freshman in high school i weigh 145 and im 5 foot 7 my max bench is 170 max squat 325 i play linbacker and running back and wondering if anyone could give some tips?
Your Bench dont really mean nothing but its still a need to suceed in football.....Keep up with the legs because that is the first thing you should worry about. Strong legs will help you get faster. I'm a freshman at Lakeland Senior High in Lakeland, Florida and we have the toughest weight program in the nation. My bench max is 250 and I sqaut 315 and I'm 5'6", 219.......!!! My point is you just need to have hard and you will always be successful in football and in anything you do.
