An arthropod is a member of either Spiders, scorpions, insects, and other groups. Insects are arthropods and are those with 6 legs. Others like arachnids have 8 legs. There are many other differences but this is the most obvious.

Well, to begin with, probably all insects have six legs.

Reptiles, will only have up to four. Almost all reptiles have scaly skin, while insects have more of a patterned, smooth skin.

Reptiles don't have antennae, and insects do.

Also, both insects and maybe reptiles have wings, because birds could count as reptiles. Under their feathers, there are scaly skin, as you could see on their legs and feet. This class is evolved from dinosaurs, and came from the theropods. This means insects and reptiles could be alike for at least one species with wings.
