The things that we can do is conservation and that includes Rain water harvesting ,where all the rain water can be directed towards our water connecting systems,we can also invest in house hold appliances which use less water to perform the actions like dishwashing,washing clothes with same efficiency,there are double level flushing toilets for different usage and its a simple but very effective way of saving water.Do not allow water leakage in any way...these are few things I could think of,may be there are many solutions if we want to reduce our usage efficiently.
