∙ 14y agoContacts are good if you don't like to wear glasses. They are better than glasses because you can move your eyes any way and still be able to see clearly, but when you wear glasses, you still have blurry vision when you look sideways. Also - people who are involved actively in sports find contacts better. They do not have the problem of being concerned about their glasses being broken by fast balls or an elbow in the face. Disadvantages are that wearers of contacts need to be extra careful about hygiene. It is very easy to cause lasting damage to one's eyes through non-sterile practices.
