All of this depends on what dye you use and what type of hair you have. There are many types of dye, ranging from temporary to permanent. Temporary hair dye will do very little damage to no damage to your hair, along with semi-permanent. Demi-permanent hair dye will do a small amount of damage to your hair with prolonged use, but permanent hair color is what you need to be careful with. When used again and again, permanent dye will cause your hair to become fragile and brittle. This effect is intensified when you bleach your hair before use. Again, this all depends on how brittle/frizzy/fragile your hair is in the first place, so use caution when dying your hair. Good luck!
Some hair dyes contain bleach/peroxide which means you need to use developer to activate it to get a certain hair color. Although it is not as damaging as pre bleaching it you are still using bleach. But, most semi-permanent hair dyes (Splat, Manic Panic, etc) you can leave in for a while because they dont contain peroxide, but it can be as damaging as blowdrying you hair on a cool setting
"hair dye is not that bad for your hair as long as you keep it healthy and maintain it.
Just make sure you look after your hair."
Yeah.
The actual due usually contains ammonia which isn't good to breathe but the dye is bad for you hair and it damages the hair leaving it weak
It makes it "burned" and dry but you can heal your hair with special oil's.
Bleaching your hair will cause damage to it. To minimize damage, have a professional hairdresser color your hair.
No. Fabric dye is designed specifically for fabric. It may contain ingredients that can damage your hair or cause scalding or kill your roots (causing hair loss). Use proper hair dye for dying your hair.
The chemicals used to dye hair are damaging to the hair shaft and can cause your hair to look dry and brittle.Use caution especially if you regularly straighten, curl or use a hot blow dryer on your hair in addition to the hair dye. These procedures are very drying to the hair and this can make the hair so brittle that it actually breaks off. If your hair is already fine in texture, the damage will be even greater.
all the dye are bad to your hair, it can damage the natural softness of your hair. there are lmost no good dye.
Dying you hair in anyway will damage your hair. It has nothing to do with the color of the dye. If you dye it too much your hair will get frizzy and thin, if you are planning on dying your hair often and dont want this you can get a treatment called a brazillian blow-out or get damage repair shampoo and conditioner.
yes
Any hair dye can damage your hair to a point that your hair will be more frizzy and dry but with the conditioner it should counter the dyes effects such as frizz and dryness . But no I have not heard of any dye making your hair fall out. DO NOT dye your hair and use a relaxer later on or use at the same time or your hair will fall out!!
No, you cant it will REALLY damage your hair =/
no it will damage the hair
ive actually done an experiment on thiss........ HAIR DYE DOES NOT EXPIRE. and if some weirrd dye doess. then no, it will not damage the haair.
The longer your keep the dye in, the more it will damage your hair. Follow the instructions, closely. ;)
Yes you can dye it black. But it'll do tiny tiny damage. The main product in dying hair that can damage it really bad (like i did :P) is by bleaching. It shouldn't damage that much at all. Look at the products you are using too.
