Adult male polar bears range from 750 to 1200 lbs. Females normally weigh around 330 to 650 lbs, but can weigh more when heavily pregnant. Normally polar bears range from 6 to 8 feet in height at the shoulder, but can be much longer from nose to tail: adult males have been known to reach 12 or 13 feet in length from nose to tail!
