I don't think it has one only crank sensor. It is right under the balancer it takes a number ten socket and then pulls out
The knock sensor on a Chevy Celebrity 2.8 L engine from 1987 thru 1990 is located on the back side of the engine(next to the firewall) below the exhaust manifold. There are actually two sensors there, one is the knock sensor, the other is the crankshaft position sensor. The knock sensor is threaded into the block with a pipe thread, the crankshaft position sensor is held in with a 10 mm screw and is near the center of the block. They are both accessible with the engine in the car, but they are a bit of a pain to get to.l
crankshaft position sensor sits in the lower part of the engine somehow on the top of chamber. when you open the chamber which is also called oil pain you will see the crankshaft position sensor.
It is a pain to get out! a stud prevents yopu from getting a socket on the bolt for the sensor!
It's a pain in the neck, the sensor is under the engine mount by the starter and the mount has to be removed to access the sensor.
It is a real pain. My suggestion is to take it to a shop.
expensive. i paid about 115 for the camshaft position sensor including labor. maybe not so bad, but what a pain to figure out.
Passenger side in the transmission bellhousing. Pain to get at!
i think you might have what is called a drum, and they are a pain
Many sufferers describe a constant pain that does not ease with change in body position or conventional medications.
It's down underneath the engine right next to the pully in front of the crankshaft. It's a pain to change because one of the two bolts is almost impossible to get to. Have fun with that good luck.
Right side against the fire wall-real pain to change
Crank sensor is best viewed from under car,its above offside drive shaft and a pain to get to,held in with 1 torx bolt
