It is much too SMALL. 1 goldfish needs a minimum of 10 gallons of water. It must also have a permanently running 'cycled' filter and it must also have at least 50% of its water replaced every week. It is preferable to keep the goldfish in a larger tank so that two or more can be kept, as goldfish are social fish.

A two gallon bowl would be suitable for a single male betta IF and ONLY IF a suitable small filter can be found that does not disturb the surface of the water too much, and a heater can be found that does not present an electrical hazard in such a small tank - 25 watts or less. If no heater is available, you could keep a single paradise fish provided the tank has a filter. I strongly recommend that you don't attempt to keep any fish in a tank smaller than 5 gallons, especially if you are a beginner, because it is so much more difficult to keep the water quality good in such a small volume of water.

depends on the size of the goldfish.

with your tank, i'd say one baby goldfish.

if your goldfish is bigger than, say, one inch, it DEFINITELY needs a bigger home.

putting more than one tiny goldfish in such a small tank is a capital crime. the PETA folk suggest that such offenders be kept in a 6'x8' room with an open latrine to simulate what the goldfish feel.

You may say that it depends on the size of the fish, but as a rule each fish should have at least ten gallons of water each.

Is a small betta fish bowl good for goldfish?

A small fish bowl is bad for any fish. You need minimal 5 gallon for a single betta. You need minimal 20~30 gallon for a single fancy goldfish, 40~55 gallon for a single common goldfish. Because fish produce ammonia and it is toxic to themselves. Goldfish has such large body mass, so they produce enormous amount of ammonia. You must have a good filter system, and do a nitrogen cycle first before adding any fish at all.

Can small young veiltail goldfish and small young common goldfish and black moor live together in a common tank of 1 gallon?

No you schould not have that many fish in a one gallon tank. Thats the size of a big betta bowl. And because they are goldfish it is worse their poops are toxins

Small bowl about 1 gallon you have 2 small goldfish in itrecently your goldfish diedi dont really know howi been taking care of the really wellplz advice?

My advice is to get an actual fish tank and not just a bowl. Fish bowls are cruel and don't have near enough space for 2 goldfish to live in

Is a 2 gallon tank enough for one small standard goldfish?

Can you fit 4 fish in one gallon fish bowl measuring 12 by 12 inches?

It may be possible to keep 4 small fish in a one gallon fish bowl, depending on the type, size and needs of the fish you choose. It will also depend on whether or not the fish bowl has a filter, and if your fish can live without a heater. For example, because they do not get large, 4 white cloud minnows can be kept in a one gallon bowl with a filter and they do not require a heater. You can also keep a male beta or Siamese fighting fish with a few white cloud minnows; or 2 small goldfish which can grow too large or the bowl.

Can you put a goldfish in a one and a half gallon bowl?

If it is a small goldfish, it will physically fit in something that small. But, it will not live very long in it. If you wish to keep goldfish alive, you need at least ten gallons of water for each goldfish along with a good filter and a heater to keep the water temperature stable. With proper care goldfish can easily live 15+ years.

Why don't goldfish grow?

Cause they are in a small bowl

Can two goldfish be together in a fish bowl?

Yes, provided the bowl is large enough.

Why does your goldfish stay in one place?

Your goldfish are all going to die. Sorry to be so blunt about this but goldfish NEED at LEAST 1 gallon of water per one inch of fish. They should be kept in large aquaria or ponds. They are not suited for life in a bowl.

How many goldfish should you keep in a fish bowl?

It depends how big your bowl is if it is below 5 gallons then you should put one. But if it is 1 or 2 gallons then you will have to move it into a 5 gallon tank or bowl at the least.
