Well, early in life he wasn't as big as you see in portraits of him towards the end of his life. At the beginning he was handsome, athletic and fit. But after he fell off a horse while hunting, he stopped exercising. So he ate but didn't work out. Towards the end of his life he weighed a good 400 pounds with a 54" inch waist give or take.
At the age of 21 he had a normal 32 inch waist but he started putting on a tremendous amount of weight following a jousting accident in 1536 and at 55 (the year of his death) his waist grew to 54 inches and his weight was just below 30 stone!
he may of been biger .
King Henry started to get weight at 1532 because of so much food. But was not to bad. Then in 1535 he start to gain more weight. But then when he got in a jousting axadint his wound never held. By 1539 he was getting very fat. Then in 1542 he had more and more probluems with his knee. Then, finally, by 1547 he died. Mostlikly of his knee and his fatness.
Henry was extremly obese and had to use a special lift to get him up the stairs!
He would never be able to fit into any abercrombie brands, or any normal retailer for that matter and would have to have tailoring from one of those obesity shops.
I don't believe that was stated any where in history, but here is a link to all about him. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Henry_VIII_of_England
