"reimbursed" ... Not clear whether you mean collects welfare or collects child support, but in either case the answer is, the State will not reimburse the NCP.
In Fresno (CA) a custodial father of five had to repay welfare for money the mother received illegally.
He collects welfare
yes, that's why he collects welfare checks!
if on welfare, yes
Yes, depending on state rules and income limits for welfare. Alimony may not be the best choice for the custodial parent.
Yes, I know of someone that Collects Child support SSI and Welfare. Messed up huh
Welfare
My mother-in-law plans to move to Maui. As of my knowledge she collects S.S. but is in need for more benifits. Where and How may she apply for welfare once she (or before) she arrives in Maui? R. Koch
It depends on what state you live in and the rules for that state. Even a small business owner can get welfare, it all depends on your assets and cash on hand and income. I have a buddy who has a 10,000 motorcycle and collects.
A parent who is receiving public assistance (including SSI) should not be ordered to pay support.
1) the custodial parent, and/or; 2) the State[s] which furnished public assistance and/or child welfare services to the child[ren]
I assume you're the mother and had another child? This is a growing problem as the rates of custodial fathers increase.
