It's the same as with any other make of truck. Typically, a driver will push the switch to dump air out of the truck's suspension. If the kingpin lock isn't already pulled, they'll get out of the truck and pull it out before backing under the trailer. Once this is done, they'll back under the trailer, keeping the truck centered with the trailer. They should be able to hear the kingpin lock when it closes around the trailer kingpin.
