"You can reset your harddrive but you wont be able to ply xbox live" No you cant... Why do you think that when you take out your hard drive, the system itself still loads? Anyway, there is NO way to restore pre-nxe once you make the switch to nxe.
Delete the update. You won't be able to play live though :'(
you cant only people without xbox live have pre NXE
A pre NXE xbox is an older version of the dashboard and is used for people who want to modify thier xbox
The new dashboard is part of NXE, or new xbox experience.
the dashboard is on your internal memory of the console
If you have NXE you can take pictures of your avatar. Or, regardless of your dashboard, new pictures can be purchased on the Xbox Marketplace.
You will not necessarily need the larger hard drive after the NXE update. However if you plan to save a couple of your games to the hard drive, or have a lot of dlc, then a larger hard drive might be needed. But the NXE updated itself does not require the larger hard drive.
go to this website and they will fix it for free. https://support.xbox.com/support/en/us/nxe/registerdevice.aspx?step=repair
I wouldn't play on a modded Xbox because you can get a console suspension which makes your console useless if the XBLPET issues one on your console.
i had the similar problem! a tip!do you have a Modem or such router?then take out the internet cable for about 30 seconds (and if you can turn the modem/router off do that too) then plug it in and test it!
1) Press the big X to open the quick menu; 2) Press the small X (the button at right); 3) Confirm that you want to sign out.
Yes, pre-owned games will work on your Xbox 360. This is true as long as they are specifically Xbox 360 games.
First, you will have to create an actual Xbox Live account. You may use your pre-existing non-Xbox Live account by opening the Xbox Guide, switching to the settings tab, and re-running the intial setup. When prompted to Join Xbox Live, there should be an option to use a pre-existing account. This will change your Gamertag, but you can change it once for free. New Xbox Live accounts recieve 1-Month Gold Trials.
No you can save it to the HDD with the NXE but u still need the disk. All it does is speed up loading times. (and take up memory)
