A judgement can be lifted on only after it's payed off.
Did the lender get a JUDGEMENT? What state are you in? The 7 yr. part is a fed law that a JUDGEMENT must be removed from your CR 7 yrs. from the date of judgement. As part of (and BEFORE) the payoff, try to negotiate with the lender to remove the repo from your CR. Email me if you need more info. PS Congratulations on paying the car off. You are likely one in 100000 who do so. My compliments to you.
Paying off what still owed on the loan is a GREAT start.
Once a debt is defaulted the balance is due in full. Even in collections, the time is past when a consumer should think of making payments. This is especially true once a judgment has been granted by a court of law. A judgement requires a legal disposition. Paying the amount would not "lift" the judgment. However, upon payment in FULL, the defendant would be able to go back to court to obtain the disposition which is a Satisfaction of Judgment. In order for future credit applications not to be impaired by this issue, it is imperative for the defendant to obtain the disposition, have it recorded in the same jurisdiction as the original filing, and forward a certified copy to all 3 credit reporting agencies. Depending upon the states' laws which govern this judgment, the defendant may be able to have the judgment dismissed with an Order to Vacate Judgment. This would "lift" the judgment, as a judge would declare the legal action invalid. If the debt and the legal procedure were valid, the chances of this happening are slim.
You can pay the judgement, which will pay the creditor. Or, you can request to pay the creditor directly and negotiate for the judgement to be vacated (removed).
Depending on who your private student loan is, you can either ask to consolidate your loans or start paying off the interest now. The biggest key factor would also be to start saving and create a plan to pay off more than the interest that is incurring on those loans.

To get an injunction lifted against you in England, you will need to satisfy the terms of the injunction. Usually this means paying the fees and fines.
Off course. A payment on...is not paying it off.The judgement is to asure you will.
it can not be. First we will suffer for 50 years and then the day of judgement will start after the Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) requests Allah.
You will have to go to court and get a judgement or if you already have a judgement you will need to get a wage garnishment.
The advantage of taking out loans with CCJS include paying instalmentally the amount that one owes. When someone has failed to make a payment, a county court can issue a judgement, and this county court judgement is called CCJs.
You can receive a County Court Judgement in many ways including not paying a bill or something that was owed. Also you can receive a County Court Judgement if you are brought to court to solve something and you had lost the case.
If you receive a judgement to evict non-paying tenants plus a judgement for rent monies unpaid and court costs how to do report this to the credit bureau if you do not have a SS# for the husband and wife? They are believed to have skipped the State when evicted.
What does your Judgement for Divorce say? when your COBRA expires
You lost the court case and have been ordered to pay up. The shortest, and easiest way around this is to as the court ordered: pay the debt you owe.
