In terms of energy, to get the energy of the producers, the producers get eaten by a herbivore of omnivore which carries the energy from the food it eats which is then passed to the carnivore if the carnivore eats the herbivore or omnivore.

∙ 10y agoProducers do not get into a carnivore because a carnivore only eats meat rather than plants. Producers get into herbivores which are then eaten by carnivores. In this way, carnivores devour producers as well as the herbivores.
