The motor will spin the direction that the positive lead is on. So if the shaft is pointing towards you, you will need to put the positive lead on the left side to make it turn counter clockwise.
On a single phase electric motor, the rotation can be accomplished by reversing the polarity. To do this, simply swap the ground and lead wires.
The direction of the current in either the field coil or the armature should be reversed, but not both.
Reverse any two line leads connected to the motor will reverse the directional rotation of the motor
Usually swapping the inlet and outlet connections will do this, depending on the design of the motor.
You have to reverse the oil flow through the motor. This is usually done with a two way valve.
There are two alternate methods depending on whether the motor is single phase or three phase. On a single phase motor, reverse either the start winding coil lead or the run winding coil lead but not both. This action will reverse the motor's rotation. On a three phase motor, interchanging any two of the three coil leads will reverse the motor's rotation.
You will need a reverse rotation cam and lifters, reverse rotation front a rear main seals, reverse rotation distributor, and a reverse rotation starter.
Change the polarity of either the field coils or the armature, not both and you will reverse rotation.

Reverse the armature connections or the field connections, but not both.
Interchanging the red and black leads in the motor's motor junction box will reverse the direction of rotation on the motor.

Depends on the model. There where several engines available. I can say for sure that the ford 302 equiped version IS Reverse rotation.
Switch two of the three wires.
