Called my dealer... $55.00 charge to program the computer so that it won't lock the doors. Len Stoler Jeep, MD on my liberty, I have a console above my head which gives me the out side temp and other things. if you have this one of the options is to shut off auto door lock. good luck

∙ 14y agoThere is a small box connected to the driver side fuse box underneath the dashboard. to the left is a small black box that plugs into the board. Just pull it out. Mind you if you take it out you will be unaware that your door is open.

∙ 12y agoon the side of the door near the latch mechanism, there is a white area that takes a screw driver. Use the screw to enable and disable the lock feature.
