Baby ducks eat alot of stuff but what I feed them is crack corn, grapes, veggie peals, and wheat. Everyone says that ducks cant eat it but the ducks LOVE it and they have never had an injury or and illness! And I am atually giving them to a farm tomorrow but never feed ducks onions or wild birdseed!

You can feed wild newborn rabbits fresh goat milk, frozen colostrum, or kitten milk replacer. You can also add heavy cream to the above. The formula is one half cup of the goat milk and kitten milk replacer with some frozen capsules of colostrum. Then you get a small bottle or use a syringe until they are old enough to drink out of a bottle.

you give the duckling food such as duck starter sold at local feed stores, peas, corn, green beans, limabeans, tomatoes, hard boiled eggs, turkey, cooked carrots, small feeder fish, crickets, and worms.

Their food should be finely chopped bugs and worms, and also pulverized fruits and vegetables. They cannot chew, so this will make the food digestible. For further care, see the related links below.

You can feed a duckling by sprinkling duck food designed for baby ducks on the ground and in the water where the duck is kept. Most ducklings will find the food very quickly.

Will your mallard duck and her ducklings be fine in your yard after hatching?

Yes, don't bother them and they'll fly away when they're older.Plus; NEVER EVER FEED THEM BREAD.It's the single biggest killer in all wild ducks, feeding them is killing them!Just like when you see the "Please don't feed the bears" signs, wild animals should never be fed. That includes WILD ducks.http://www.liveducks.com/bread.htmlIt's bad for any kind of duck, wild or domestic, or the domestic ducks people "release" to the wild. Note the fact that they are DOMESTIC ducks, and can't live in the WILD. WILD ducks can live in the WILD; but DOMESTIC ducks can only live in DOMESTIC settings. They have been bred for centuries to be fatter for human consumption, and shorter wing spans to reduce fly-aways in the domestic farm/backyard setting. Plus, they have 'odd' coloration compared to wild ducks. White is a dead giveaway to a predator.

What age do you stop feeding baby ducks?

Farm ducks need feed everyday. Domestic ducks are dependent on the feed a farmer provides and only supplement their feed on a pond and around the yard. You do not "stop" feeding domestic ducks. If you have been feeding wild ducks then you can stop anytime you feel you want to. The ducklings will follow the flock and feed where the adults are feeding just in shallower waters.
