Almost all publicly traded corporations are required to file periodic reports with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Each quarterly and annual report will identify the company's state of incorporation on the first page. These reports are available through the EDGAR system at the SEC's website,www.sec.gov, and are often available on the investor-relations section of the company's website.

Ministry of corporate affairs website gives information on a search with company's name, the date of incorporation and the address. Please debate.

If the company has a web site, visit the contact us section to see if there is a mailing address: you can also check the area code of the telephone number. With a state, you can visit the Secretary of State's web site and do a name search. If you are in Florida, sunbiz.org is the URL you will need to visit.
