To get the dog used to other animals and dogs you have to put it in a room with other people and you have to have people and dogs around for a period of time and then they will finally get used to people and other dogs.
if you don't socialize your dog with other dogs it will snap at them because it wants to protect you. I know this because we lived on a farm for a number of years and our dog was not used to other dogs. When we moved to the city she would jump snarl and snap at other dogs. This will happen if you don't get it used to people other than ones that it is used to as well. YES SO THEY CAN BOND AND HAVE SEX
well it depends on the dogs personality... if the dog is friendly and loves to be around other dogs and people then yes. most hyper dogs do. if your dog is aggressive then not always
Well... dogs kinda help every other dog so there's not a specific dog that helps dogs.
Most of the time people use pitbulls bulldogs or rotweillers in dog fighting but i do not advise this because it is illegal and very inhuman to treat an animal like that
It is a natural dog behavior to smell "that area" on other dogs and people, because this is how dogs gain information about the person/dog that they're smelling. Much like people get to know other people by what their faces look like, dogs tell people (and other dogs) apart by their smell, and the part of the body where that individual smell is strongest is, well, the groin/rear. So, it is just how the dog tells you apart from other people.
Dogs learn about other dogs through the scent they leave. Similar to when people talk to other people, dogs convey messages through scents. A dog that smells another dogs urine, can learn if that dog is male or female, if they are in heat, what the dog's temperament is, if they are healthy or sick, etc.
Dog is a noun. However, it can be used as a noun adjunct to describe other nouns (dog hair, dog collar), sometimes in idiomatic ways that have nothing to do with dogs (dog days, dog tired, dog-eared). The adjective "dogged" also has little to do with dogs, other than the determination shown by some breeds.
Many people are used to take their dogs with them to travel, vacation, work, etc. Dog guards are used in the cars to keep the dogs from moving on all over the seats and probably making troubles.
yes,but people bread them with other dogs to get a mut.
Cause some dogs like other dogs. Even if it was wet or not probably the dog would still greet the other dog.
As with dogs from all breeds, how a dog reacts with other dogs is all down to how it was raised and trained. American Staffordshire Terriers can make excellent companions for people and other dogs alike, but this depends solely on how the dog has been raised.
Watch The Dog Whisperer on television. He's one of the best dog handlers you'll ever see.
