If you like him or her then just tell him or her!!! Also, if that seems maybe too awkward or something, you could take that friend to dinner or lunch somewhere sometimes. Also, you could, as stated earlier, just hang out in smaller groups. You will (proven) definitely make progress. Just keep being nice and give gifts to that person for their birthday and Christmas or Hanukkah. Also, it helps if you talk to them a lot and learn more about them. LISTEN WELL. If you know more about a person, you can become closer and make sure to talk about things they like.
