Depending on the state you live in, there is a certain age at which you can leave your house without being charged as a runaway. The only problem you have to worry about is school. Unless your parents sign custody of you over to whoever you can find to live with, you still have to go to that school. I am personally 17, and live in Massachusetts where that age is 17. Still trying to find somewhere else to go though. So be smart about your decision because I already left without planning where i can live ahead of time. Do that before you leave.
