According to the Christian faith, you ask forgiveness from the Christian god. According to all Western legal systems, you go to jail and undergo rehabilitation.
But if nobody was hurt by your sins, how can they be sins? Ask Jesus to come into your heart: Say out loud now: Jesus I believe and I receive you in my heart please save my soul and heal me.
To be saved you must believe that Jesus Christ is your Lord and Savior and that he died for you on the cross to take away your sins. If you believe this and have prayed to God our Father to ask for forgiveness and told him that you believe in his Holy Name then when you die you would go to heaven.
The Bible teaches that every one born into this world is a sinner, a person who is spiritually lost and separated from God. Romans 3:10 says "As it is written, there is none righteous, no not one" Romans 3:23 says "All have sinned and come short of the glory of God"
The book of Genesis tells us that Man rebelled against God in the garden when they ate of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. God had warned that if they ever ate from that particular tree they would die. Adam and Eve died spiritually and were cut off from God. Because of Adam's rebellion against God, all their descendants were born spiritually dead. I.E. the entire human race.
The bible says that " As by one man (Adam) sin entered into the world and death by sin and so death passed upon all men in that all have sinned."
The bible refers to the condition of unregenerate man as being "Dead in trespasses and sins."
God is forgiving and merciful but also hates sin and must deal with our sin as his righteous nature requires it -Romans 6:23 says "The wages of sin is death........" this death is eternal separation from God in a place called hell, a place where God does not want any one to go to Jesus said hell is a "Furnace of fire" a place of "Weeping, wailing and gnashing of teeth" 2 Per 3:9 says "God is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance."
So God made a way for men to be brought back into fellowship with him, but it is the only way, it is through Jesus Christ who said speaking of himself "I am the way the truth and the life no man comes unto the Father but by me" The reason that Jesus is the only way is that only he dealt with our sin issue that separates us from God the Father. He willingly died on the cross for the sins of all mankind taking the sentence of death that you and I deserve. God raised him from the dead three days later. Rom. 4:5 "But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly his faith is counted for righteousness." No one Got saved in the Bible by praying a prayer asking Jesus into their heart they were saved the instant they believed the Gospel see Rom. 1:16, Rom. 5:1., Ephesians 1:13, Ephesians 2:8-9.
Another answerRom 10:14 says this clearly. To teach a sinner is saved by praying a prayer is to teach works since that is something you do. Repentance in the Bible is not necessarily"Turning from sin". In the Old Testament it says in a number of places that GOD repented. If repentance is turning from sin there is a problem there. Repentance is a change of mind, it can be about a sin or just simply having a change of mind and heart and believing on Christ. A sinner repents when he believes on Christ. A man who is dead in trespasses and sins cannot fully understand the scope of his sin or know even what sin is at times, to teach he must self reform by turning from sin before he can be saved is not bible salvation. See David Stewart's comments on repentance at Jesus is Savior .com. Nowhere in the word does it teach a man is saved by turning from sin as in self reformation, he is saved when he Believes the Gospel of 1 Cor 15:1-10. The Philippian jailer said, "Sirs what must I do to be saved?" Paul said "believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved and thine house."
First you have to believe in Jesus Christ, that he died for your sins on that cross and that he was buried, and that he resurrected on the third day. If this is truly in your heart you may pray to him and ask to be forgiven for your sins. He is faithful to forgive you of your sins and what is left is that you follow him and obey him.
Paradise is the starting point. The destination is the Kingdom of Heaven.
Plenty of us
You will have to admit that Jesus died for you on the cross for your sins.
You dont wait you go to heaven right away with GOD if you are saved if you are not saved you wait for five months.
They get saved and when they die are going to go to Heaven
I don't think many of them went to Heaven but after Jesus was crucified he did not go straight to Heaven. For three days he was in Hades and while there he saved all the souls of the Old Testament that deserved to be saved.
According to Christianity, yes.
No. There is only one true God, and that is the Father in heaven. Those who will go to heaven on Judgment Day will be with Him forever. However, not everyone will go to heaven. Although God wants all people to be saved, He is also fair and just. Therefore, wicked people cannot go to heaven. Only God’s true servants will go to heaven.
When you die, you either go to Heaven or Hell. If you are saved (a Christian), then you will see Jesus!
So you can go to Heaven. And so you can walk with God every day of your life.
Yes you have to be saved an believe that Jesus is lord and savior- A'maya :)
All men have sinned, except Christ Jesus. Believers are likely to go to heaven. Keep in mind that God is a merciful God and wants us to be saved from lake of fire. Therefore, it is possible for a sinning believer to be saved. Everybody has a chance of being saved.
